Russell Transport has a large and well established workshop at Fison Ave, Eagle Farm. Set up primarily to repair and maintain our own equipment, it operates on a 2 shift basis and provides:
- Mechanical repairs - 4 bays
- Routine servicing - 2 pits
- Welding repairs - 3 bays
- Spray painting booth
- Auto-electrical / setup - 1 bay
- Licensed Vehicle Wash - 2 bays
- Refueling Facility - 3 pumps
All vehicles, including trailers and cranes, are routinely tested on our 'Maha' Roller brake tester and suspension play detector. This provides a documented and auditable record of brake tests which meet or exceed the Australian Standards.
We have qualified tradespeople in:
- Automotive Engineering,
- Heavy Commercial Mechanics,
- Boilermakers and Welders,Â
- Panel Beaters and Spray Painters,
- Approved Person for modification and alteration under the QLD Road Use Management - Vehicle Standards and Safety Regulation 1999
- Approved Inspection Station AIS
